The GM Made Me Do This

Looks like we caught coach Kruger practising for Dancing With The Stars with a video he posted on YouTube.

In my disbelief and shock, I can't believe that he would put himself through this ordeal.

Denny Saunders Signs One Year Deal with Jackalopes

Through intense negiotiations with the GM Frank Daily and Coach Chris Kruger a tentative deal to bring Denny Saunders out of retirement looks good.

Rumor that Denny signed a deal worth $0,000,000.00 has sparked excitement with the trusted Jackalope fans (sorry fan!!!).

Detail terms of the deal will not be released but the players are happy that management has signed the young promising forward.

John Russell joins the Jackalopes

After speculation and rumors that John Russell was joining the Jackalopes of the Oldsmar hockey league, GM Frank Daily make the announcement Saturday afternoon.

"John Russell has been acquired from the Charleston Chiefs of the American Hockey Leauge in exchange for two cases of Labatt's Blue and a dozen donuts."

John Russell a tough gritty hockey player that single handedly beat up the 3 Handson brother during tryouts is pleased with the move to a team that needs some physical presence on the forward line.

John Besedic that played against John Russell in the Sunday league had this to say. "Thank God he's playing with me and not against me. I don't have to worry about this crazy guy."

Coach Kruger had this to say..."Watch out guys, John brings speed and physical play into the locker room and if my players don't step up a notch, John's instructed to do what ever it takes to wake them up."

Matt Gets Blue Balls

Well you guys knew that this post was coming. If you weren't at last nights game, Matt was on the receiving end of a slap shot from John Besedic. Unfortunately instead of Matt deflecting the shot into the net, Matt decided that his nuts needed a good rubbing so he took the shot straight on.

Below is Matt right after the game proud of his blue balls. Rumor is the movie Johnny Dangerously is looking for him in the sequel "Johnny Dangerously 2"

Oh by the way we did win our home opener.

Now I have evidence that the cause of my suspension was the mold and pollutants in the air made me go crazy.

OLDSMAR — The lights on the rink usually look white to him, but an ice hockey coach at the Tampa Bay Skating Academy noticed they looked yellow at practice Thursday.

So Jim Anna, head coach of a team composed of East Lake High School students, asked the driver of the Zamboni machine resurfacing the ice if the lights were new.

The driver shook his head, but the coach wasn't sure what that meant.

Before long, two players said they felt sick and the assistant coach started coughing and was having trouble getting his breath. As practice ended, the team manager asked Anna what was wrong with him.

"Either I'm having a heart attack or I broke a rib," he told her. "Because I can't breathe."

By the next night, 21 of the 24 players and the three adults on staff had suffered symptoms like shortness of breath, coughing, dizziness and nausea. Five had nosebleeds and two were coughing up blood. At least four went to the doctor and two to the hospital.

The Tampa Bay Skating Academy released a statement Tuesday, saying a gasoline-powered ice edger was used Thursday morning, possibly without adequate ventilation, and that might have caused the incident. So the rink has put new procedures in place to avoid a recurrence.

"We will continue to make every effort to make sure our users are safe and enjoy our facility," the statement said.

Also Tuesday, the Pinellas County Hazardous Materials Team checked the skating academy at 255 Forest Lakes Blvd. N for flammable gases in the air. Craig Maciuba, the deputy commander in charge, said the Zamboni machine there uses propane and the hazardous materials team didn't find any leaks.

"Of course, it's five days later," he said.

He said he went to the rink for other calls in the past when the rink opened, maybe 12 years ago or more. The Zamboni machine at that time was not burning the gas completely, he said, so it emitted a higher concentration of carbon dioxide than it should.

The East Lake team's head coach thinks the Zamboni was releasing a gas called nitrogen dioxide and that caused the symptoms. He based that on Internet research.

Maciuba confirmed that nitrogen dioxide is another gas that can be released from the ice machines and might cause respiratory symptoms.

Andrew Habasevich, 16, a junior at East Lake High School from Oldsmar, said he went home from practice Thursday and watched the University of Florida football championship. After the game, he started having trouble breathing.

"I couldn't take a deep breath or exhale all the way," he said, then he was nauseated and coughing.

He has asthma, but he said this cough was different.

The next day, he still had some trouble breathing but he wanted to play in the game Friday night. One goalie had been injured and the other was now coughing up blood. He was the only one left.

"As the game went on, I started to feel dizzy," he said. "There was one point where I had double vision."

After the game, his concern lay elsewhere.

"We lost the game," he said. "The first game we had lost in nearly three years."

Goalie gets entry level contract..

This was a move that was bound to happen folks. The Jackalopes of the USA Hockey league have signed 4 year old Aidan Besedic to a 3 year entry level contract.

This is a desperation move knowing that their starter Timmy Moccia is getting old between the pipes.

Aidan Besedic was called up from the Sponge Bob league and is pictured below in his rookie card. Besedic save percentage is 97.8% which would place him in the top 10 goalies in the NHL.

Ask about the signing Besedic said the following, "This is cool, I know Timmy sucks and I don't have any regrets in saying it."

Besedic's starting salary is a Mc Donald's happy meal once a week and a can of Sprite after the game.

Chris Kruger the captain of the team was asked about the signing and he had this to say. "Hey I've seen this kid play and I'm afraid to say the Timmy's going to have a hard time this year keeping his starters job. We got this kid for a bargain and we could resist signing him before the Pissers signed him."

Well it's good to be back and actually playing. Let me tell you guys that sitting on the blechers for the last 6 months has been a theraputic relaxing endeavour.

My anger management doctor and Dr. Flavors both gave me clearance to play and let me tell you guys that it was nice to be apart of the team.

The yelling, screaming, and bitching....... ah feels like the good old Jackalopes team I remember.

Now it's time to quit bitching and lets get back to business and kick some frigging ass.
